My name is Dylan Adams, a man totally changed by God’s love. He has transformed my life through his Son, Jesus and I continue to follow him. I am a graduate of Toccoa Falls College with a degree in Family and Children’s Ministry. It was at TFC that I learned that God gave me a passion to for children, especially those who have not heard the gospel and come from a broken family. It burdens my heart to see children suffering and feeling hopeless. And we all share the same brokenness, no matter what our Family of Origin looks like or who we are. Our identities may feel shattered but Christ brings our identities back whole. “For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died” (2 Cor. 5:14). I’m compelled to love, tell others about Christ. Over the past 2-3 years, God has lead me to the city of Chicago to be the “light in the darkness.” I fell in love with the children and people at a church in Chicago. For the next year +, I will be working through Envision with the church called Family Empowerment Centers to share the love of Christ to the children and families. God calls all us to him for he is the God that isn’t passive but is active and pursues us. This blog is not just about connecting you to what I am doing in Chicago but hopefully is a way to show how God is building His Kingdom in urban families.

To be honest, I did not feel like I wanted to be there. I wanted to get through the day and go home to rest. It’s so great … Continue reading Simply Love

It’s been a great and busy first full month back here in Chicago! Our last week of Soccer Camp ended well.
